Myeloma Risk Association and Linkage Study

Dear Patient,

As you know major advances have occurred in the diagnosis and treatment of myeloma in the last decade. But more needs to be done. There are many subtypes of myeloma, and there is an increased risk of myeloma in African Americans and in close family members.

The purpose of this study is to determine the underlying reasons for the increased risk of myeloma in certain races and in family members, as well as to understand whether the subtypes of myeloma occur more commonly in one group over the other. This study will provide important information that will help all patients with myeloma.

You do not need to reveal any identifying information to participate in this study. The study consists of a simple survey, which we hope will only take a few minutes of your time to complete.

We thank you for your participation.
